This Privacy Policy describes how MuzePay ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our web application, accessible at muzepay.online and installable as a Progressive Web App (PWA) to your device's home screen. MuzePay does not require a download from any app store.
MuzePay collects and stores the following information to provide its business management services:
We do not collect: location data, browsing history, contacts, or any data outside the app, except as explicitly described in Section 5 for optional connected features.

Your data is stored in two places:
Additional security measures include: PIN-based staff authentication (no personal Firebase Auth account required for staff), and Firestore security rules that scope every business's data strictly to its own Business Code.
Product photos are never stored on MuzePay's own servers. If you connect Google Drive (see Section 5), the actual photo files live entirely in your own Google Drive. MuzePay's database stores only a reference link to each photo — never the image itself.
Business data is retained for as long as the account remains active. If you stop using MuzePay, your data remains in our systems unless you request deletion.
To request deletion of all your business data, contact us via WhatsApp at +234 701 999 9900 or email muzepay@gmail.com with your Business Code. We will process deletion within 30 days.
If you disconnect Google Drive, we delete the stored reference to your Drive connection immediately. Photos already uploaded remain in your own Google Drive and are entirely under your control — MuzePay never has the ability to delete or access files in your Drive on its own.
MuzePay uses the following third-party services:
MuzePay offers an entirely optional feature that lets a business connect its own Google Drive to display real product photos, instead of (or in addition to) the built-in, no-account-required Color Tag feature. This is the only feature in MuzePay that connects to a third-party account, and a business never has to use it — everything else in MuzePay works fully without it.
If you choose to connect Google Drive:
drive.file permission scope only — this means MuzePay can only ever see or manage files that MuzePay itself created in your Drive. MuzePay cannot see, read, or modify any other file in your Google Drive.Google's own handling of this connection is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
MuzePay includes an optional voice search feature, off by default until enabled in Settings. When used, voice recognition is performed using your device's browser's built-in speech recognition (the Web Speech API). Depending on your browser, this may involve your spoken audio being processed by that browser's own service provider (for example, Google, if you use Chrome) in order to convert speech to text. MuzePay's own servers never receive, process, or store any voice recording — only the resulting typed-out text is used, in exactly the same way as if it had been typed manually.
No advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or social media integrations are included in MuzePay.
Each business's data is stored under a unique Business Code. No business can access another business's data. Mizena Collection (the developer) may access business data only for support purposes when explicitly authorized by the business owner.
MuzePay is a business management application designed for adult business owners and their staff. It is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
